Job summary
Proactive Personnel Ltd. is seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) ADR Night Driver to join our Wirral operation. The role covers Sunday to Wednesday nights with typical start times between 18:00 and 21:00, based in Wirral.
You will deliver ADR goods safely and on time, perform vehicle checks, and maintain accurate paperwork while complying with Driver Hours and Road Transport regulations. Ongoing training and progression opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- ADR Licence (Packages as a minimum).
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks.
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred.
- No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.
- Strong safety and compliance awareness.
Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of ADR goods to customer locations.
- Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in line with ADR regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital records.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations.
