Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an ADR Driver to safely transport and collect hazardous goods in line with ADR regulations. You will perform vehicle checks, complete paperwork, secure loads and ensure timely collections and deliveries.

The role requires an LGV/HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card and ADR qualification, with a Monday–Friday 45-hour week and an hourly rate of £19.10. Immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Hold a valid ADR qualification covering dangerous goods.
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Strong awareness of transporting hazardous/dangerous goods requirements.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Class 1 ADR Driver

Hourly rate: £19.10 (Overtime available)

Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)

An ADR Driver is responsible for safely transporting and collecting hazardous or dangerous goods in line with ADR regulations and company procedures. The role also involves carrying out vehicle checks, completing required paperwork, securing loads safely and ensuring all collections and deliveries are completed safely and on time.
