Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Technician to support the Loss Adjuster in domestic major loss claims in Leeds or Manchester. You will guide claimants through the process, gather details, and help determine settlements with contractors to get properties back to normal.

You will be the calm, organized point of contact, balancing empathy with initiative to keep claims moving, even in high-volume periods. Training will be provided and opportunities for professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing property claims.
• Excellent communication skills with policyholders, insurers, and contractors.
• Conscientious and hardworking with flexibility during high volumes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Loss Adjuster in handling claims from start to close.
• Guide customers through the claims process and explain complex details clearly.
• Collaborate with contractors to facilitate repairs and settlements.
