Job description

Join to apply for the Claims Technician role at Adjusting Appointments Limited.

The company is seeking an experienced Claims Administrator/Handler to join their Construction & Engineering Team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administration support to Adjusters and collaborate closely with Claims Technicians handling Construction & Engineering Claims.

The position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with time in the London City Office.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receiving new claims instructions
  2. Setting up new claims files
  3. Conducting risk screening and triaging
  4. Managing the claims process lifecycle through to settlement
  5. Assisting with Adjuster caseloads, managing diaries, and liaising with Insureds, Insurers, Brokers, and relevant parties
  6. Producing technical reports
  7. Ensuring compliance with time reporting and billing
  8. Handling incoming calls and queries
  9. Invoicing
  10. Providing general administrative support as needed
About You
  1. Experience in Claims Administration, preferably in construction/engineering or property
  2. Interest in construction-related insurance matters with a willingness to learn
  3. Organized with an analytical approach and keen attention to detail
  4. Ability to work under pressure
  5. Proficient in IT, including Word and Excel
  6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  7. Flexibility regarding travel requirements
Salary and Benefits
