Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Duration: Permanent

Location: Newcastle, Edinburgh, Charlbury, Northampton, or Catterick (hybrid working of 2 days working from home per week available upon successful completion of probation)

About the role

Lycetts Insurance Brokers, part of Benefact Group, seeks a Claims Handler/Senior Claims Handler to join our Claims Team at our Head Office in Newcastle or Regional Claims Hubs in Edinburgh, Charlbury, Northampton, or Catterick.

We need a Claims Handler with strong insurance technical knowledge and a compassionate client care approach. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support clients during vulnerable times and ensure a seamless claims experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Guide clients through the claims process with empathy and professionalism
  • Use your insurance knowledge to ensure fair outcomes
  • Communicate clearly with clients, insurers, and third parties
  • Manage claims from start to finish with care and attention to detail
  • Make a positive difference in people's lives daily
Knowledge, skills and experience
  • Solid technical insurance claims handling knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in a similar role (preferred)
