Job summary

Zego is hiring for a Claims professional to manage a busy caseload, negotiate with third parties and drive down costs. You will handle Personal Injury claims and use MOJ/OIC portals, ensuring reserves are accurate and timely.

The role supports a hybrid pattern with a London presence and strong opportunity to influence dynamic motor insurance tech. You will need solid claims experience in insurance, MOJ/OIC portal knowledge, and a pragmatic, commercially aware mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong claims handling experience in an insurance company (desirably with an Insurtech or motor insurer).
• Good working knowledge of the MOJ and OIC portals.
• Strong telephone negotiation skills.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload.
• Sound knowledge of liability scenarios and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own claims caseload in accordance with the Zego claims philosophy, procedures and SLAs.
• Responding proactively to incoming calls and correspondence to avoid leakage and delays.
• Monitoring ongoing credit hire periods to drive down claim costs and raising payments promptly and accurately.
• Liaising with third party insurers, solicitors and credit hire organisations to progress and settle claims efficiently.
• Work on Personal Injury claims inside and outside MOJ/OIC portals.
• Entering reserves accurately and promptly into the claims system.
• Conducting liability and quantum investigations, considering potential fraud.
