Claims Handler
Folkestone (office based)
£30,000 - £35,000

Barker Munro recruitment has a superb opportunity for an experienced Claims Negotiator looking for a new challenge in the Folkestone/Dover area.

The key purpose of this role includes managing Property Owners, Flats, residential lets, and Landlord Claims on a daily basis:

  1. To deal with and manage all claims reported up to a delegated authority of £100,000.
  2. To ensure that other departments are aware of any information or trends that may influence underwriting.
  3. To ensure that the claims department works in compliance with the rules and regulations set out by the FCA.
  4. To assist with claim reporting and bordereau reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.

We are seeking applicants with the capacity to manage their own portfolio of Property Owners claims and the ability to interpret Loss Adjusters or Surveyor reports. You should also possess good communication skills and be able to explain the reasoning behind any decisions to interested parties. Candidates must have experience in handling Property claims (Household or commercial).
