Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC – A&H Group in London seeks an experienced Claims Adjuster to manage Property Direct & Facultative and Treaty lines. You will review, adjust and settle claims in a timely and fair manner while collaborating with underwriters and brokers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the London Market, strong knowledge of ECF and Lloyd’s schemes, and excellent communication and organisational skills to support a high-volume specialty claims operation.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Property (Direct and Reinsurance) claims across multiple lines and territories.
• 3+ years in the London Market.
• Strong knowledge of ECF and Lloyd’s Claims Schemes.

Responsibilities

• Regularly liaising with Underwriters to feedback on claims structure and risk information.
• Internally coordinating with Actuarial, Ceded Reinsurance, Finance and Operations.
• Externally liaising with Brokers, market leaders and retained experts.
• Managing claims through ECF and market meetings.
• Ensuring fair treatment of customers at all times.
• Undertaking additional duties such as diary management and project work as required.

The role is to ensure that claims are reviewed and settled in a timely and equitable manner, whilst constantly striving to develop and improve service and quality standards.**Key Responsibilities:*** Regularly meeting with Underwriters to provide feedback with regards to the structure of their claims issues and related risk information with the goal to improve the overall standard of underwriting in the company* Internal liaison with Actuarial, Ceded Reinsurance, Finance and Operations* External liaison with Brokers, market leaders and retained experts* Acting within an agreed claims handling authority across a varied portfolio of claims and upholding the departmental objectives* Receiving and acting upon first notifications, updates, determining coverage and agreeing valid claims* Handling claims electronically via ECF writeback and engaging in market meetings and conference calls when necessary* To be actively present at market meetings and conference calls when relevant and necessary* Ensuring customers are treated fairly at all times* Practice and promote Tokio Marine HCC's Claims Value Proposition, to both internal and external contacts alike* Adhering to Lloyd's Minimum Standards* Undertake other ancillary work including static claims, diary management and other project work as and when required* Take a leading role in other ad hoc activities that may be required**Skills and Experience Specification:** Essential: * Experience in handling of Property (Direct and Reinsurance) claims across multiple lines of business and territories.* 3+ years experience in the London Market* An excellent knowledge of ECF and the Lloyd’s Claims Schemes* Excellent Interpersonal skills are required as the duties of this role involves liaising with outsourcing partners, negotiation and liaising with brokers, loss adjusters and lawyers.* Enthusiastic and possess good technical knowledge with a willingness to learn and work together with the wider team to maintain excellent service levels.* Ability to work pro-actively with good organisational and time management skills.* Good communication skills both written and verbal Desirable:* Qualified or studying towards ACII qualification **What We Offer** The Tokio Marine HCC Group of Companies offers a competitive salary and employee benefit package.
