Astute People is recruiting a Cladding Supervisor for an Energy from Waste project in London on a 24-month minimum contract. The role oversees cladding subcontractors, ensures safety compliance, and coordinates daily activities with the construction team.

Candidates must hold SSSTS and CSCS Gold cards, and have experience supervising cladding on large building envelope projects. UK work eligibility is required; outside IR35 applies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret construction programmes.
• Experience supervising cladding subcontractors on large projects.
• In-date SSSTS & CSCS Gold card required.
• Experience with work at height and lifting of cladding materials.
• Ideally on Energy from Waste or large industrial envelope projects.

Responsabilités

• Know the daily and weekly programme activities for the cladding package.
• Drive subcontractor productivity to meet or improve planned dates.
• Confirm labour, materials, access equipment and permits each morning; ensure IPAF PAL card is valid for machine category.
• Check RAMS and equipment limits before work at height or lifting starts.
• Attend morning coordination meetings and identify blockers before they affect programme.
