Job summary

Teaching Vacancies in Exeter is seeking an enthusiastic trainer to lead training for roofing apprentices, develop the roofing curriculum and deliver high-quality assessments. You will mark work, track progress and provide feedback, mentor the next generation of roofers, and help learners achieve industry-recognised qualifications.

As part of safeguarding commitments, you will work with pupils and staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment and support progression towards L4 IQA

Qualifications

• Must be able to engage and support learners of varying abilities.
• Experience in roofing trades and teaching is advantageous.
• Willing to work towards L4 IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) qualification.

Responsibilities

• Training apprentices and the wider roofing industry.
• Developing the roofing curriculum.
• Marking work, tracking progress and giving feedback.
• Supporting, training and mentoring the next generation of roofers.
