Job summary

ICE Recruit is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Cardiff team on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on infrastructure design and project leadership, with a salary of £50k-£55k plus benefits.

You will bring at least five years' post-graduation experience in the design of foul and surface water drainage, highways including SuDS, and development levels, plus a BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering and strong communication with clients and professionals.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' post-graduation experience in the design of foul and surface water drainage systems.
• A BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.
• Experience in the design of private and adoptable highways, SuDS, cut and fill, earthworks specifications and development levels is essential.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations is expected.
• An ICE-approved training scheme is available for continued professional development and progression toward chartership.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for own projects and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
• Engage with clients, colleagues and other professionals to develop infrastructure designs.

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's growing Cardiff team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a senior position within a vibrant consultancy, working on a diverse range of infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' post-graduation experience in the design of foul and surface water drainage systems, including schemes intended for public adoption.

A BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required, together with strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently with clients, colleagues and other professionals.

Experience in the design of private and adoptable highways, SuDS, cut and fill, earthworks specifications and development levels is essential. A sound understanding of the cost implications associated with setting levels, along with knowledge of CDM Regulations, is also expected.

This senior role will suit an engineer who can work independently, take responsibility for their own projects and provide support and guidance to less experienced members of the team.
