Join to apply for the Civils Team Leader role at Utility Line Ltd.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Stevenage. The role offers a competitive salary plus benefits.

Role Overview: The Civils Team Leader will lead a team of two, responsible for installation and signage functions. You will ensure all work complies with safety standards, technical designs, and guidelines, traveling nationwide for EV and grid connection projects. Collaboration with your team and other stakeholders is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee excavation works, service trenching, and ground surveys
  • Operate plant and equipment, manage company vehicle
  • Ensure safety, report hazards, and maintain site tidiness
  • Build foundations, lay ducting, and install cables
  • Work closely with site representatives and clients

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience with electricity distribution networks
  • Relevant safety and machinery certifications (NRSWA/EUSR/CSCS, CPCS, NPORS)
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Understanding of mains records and safety rules
