Job summary

Lumsden & Carroll Civil Engineering in Leeds is seeking a Civils Site Engineer to provide precise setting out, technical guidance, and on-site support across civil projects. You will collaborate with site teams to ensure works meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

The role emphasises accurate records, client liaison, and potential short-term site management. A solid background in civil engineering and competency with standard software are required.

Qualifications

• Set out and construct works accurately per contract and client requirements.
• Ensure technical compliance and safety of all activities.
• Capable of acting as site manager for short-term cover.
• Maintain and agree site records and as-built drawings with client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with QA systems and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate records and measurements to enable monthly valuations.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure on-time delivery of civil works.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and site discipline.
• Support project teams with technical guidance and problem solving.
