Job summary

Esh Civils is seeking a Senior Engineer to take full responsibility for on-site civil engineering activities in Leeds. You will provide technical leadership, ensuring work aligns with project specs and safety standards, while coordinating site teams and maintaining quality to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong CAD skills, site experience, and a solid understanding of NEC/contract requirements. A valid CSCS card and UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership on civil engineering sites and ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and safety practices on construction sites.
• Experience delivering civil schemes with value ranging from £100k to £5million.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for day-to-day engineering activities on civil schemes.
• Provide technical leadership on site and ensure works meet project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate on-site teams, maintain quality, and support successful project delivery.
• Produce technical drawings and as-built surveys.
• Take off and produce quantities from tender through to completion.
• Plan and prioritise activities to meet programme milestones.
