Job summary

Central Employment is seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to own major civil engineering projects from inception through to completion. The role leads site teams, coordinates subcontractors and suppliers, and ensures delivery to programme and budget while upholding HSE standards.

Applicants should have a strong background in roads, sewers, RC works and earthworks, with valid CSCS/CPCS and SMSTS qualifications, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Strong background in roads & sewers, RC works, earthworks and industrial civils.
• Valid and in-date CSCS/CPCS Card.
• SMSTS Qualification.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Full project responsibility from planning through to completion.
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitoring commercial performance and project costs.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Producing progress reports and project updates.
• Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.
