Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for a Principal contractor delivering civils projects in Sittingbourne. You will lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence and quality.

You will coordinate resources, manage stakeholders and teams, and drive risk mitigation, with strong leadership and communication to deliver successful outcomes on site.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering civils projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, codes and standards.
• Mandatory certifications: SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator, First Aid, Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects with timelines, budgets and resources.
• Lead cross-functional teams and delegate tasks.
• Manage project budgets and control costs.
• Develop and adjust project schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; ensure safety and compliance.
• Conduct quality inspections; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage client and stakeholder communications and updates.
• Oversee procurement and resource management.
• Enforce health and safety across sites.
• Oversee project closeout, handover manuals and warranties.
