Job summary

Sweet Projects is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager (Civils) to lead complex data centre construction initiatives in the UK. You will be accountable for safe, compliant, profitable, and timely delivery, coordinating with clients, suppliers and internal teams to meet milestones.

Responsibilities include governance, controls, budgeting, risk management, and ensuring quality and handover readiness across phases 2 and beyond, while maintaining strict adherence to CDM standards and company

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction projects with civils and data-centre scale.
• Experience managing commercial performance, forecasting and cost control.
• Strong understanding of programme, risk and change management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience managing client and stakeholder relationships.
• Proven delivery of below-ground civils, substructures, drainage, and utilities on large projects.
• Experience managing design interfaces and information across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to operate as Principal Contractor managing logistics, welfare facilities, temporary works, and site operations.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and NEC or JCT forms of contract.
• Data centre or mission-critical construction experience.
• Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) experience or SMSTS awareness.
