A leading civil engineering contractor in Scotland seeks a Civils Project Manager to oversee a large Earthworks project. The successful applicant will manage project delivery and ensure compliance with high standards in the renewable energy sector. This role is based in Northern Scotland with flexibility before transitioning to the Isle of Lewis.
Job Description
Orion Group is working with a successful and well-established Civil Engineering client to source a Civils Project Manager to join their team based in Northern Scotland.
As the Civils Project Manager, you will initially oversee a large Earthworks project to make way for a new Substation and associated buildings.
Applicants can be based in Glasgow or the Highlands until Q1 2026, after which they will be site-based on the Isle of Lewis for the duration of the project.
So, what are we looking for?
You should be skilled in delivering civil engineering projects, preferably with experience in large Earthworks projects within renewable energy, Power & Transmission, highways, or marine construction, exceeding £10m in value.
This role requires a commercial mindset with a good understanding of commercial contracts (NEC3/4).
