Job summary

Comex 2000 is delivering major civils and telecoms infrastructure across the Yorkshire region. We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead safe, efficient delivery of civils operations, owning performance across excavation, ducting, chamber construction and reinstatement.

You will coordinate field teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to meet safety, quality and budget targets. You will drive productivity, ensure permits and SSHEQ standards are met, and push continuous

Qualifications

• Experience leading civils, utilities, highways or infrastructure projects.
• Leadership in a field-based construction or civils environment.
• Knowledge of streetworks, excavation, reinstatement and traffic management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of civils infrastructure projects across the region.
• Manage field teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and right-first-time delivery.
• Oversee excavation, duct installation, chamber construction, reinstatement and streetworks.
• Drive performance against programme, operational, quality and commercial targets.
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA requirements, permit conditions, traffic management regulations and SSHEQ standards.
• Monitor resource allocation, productivity and cost performance across multiple projects.
• Build effective relationships with clients, local authorities, highways authorities and key operational stakeholders.
• Identify delivery risks, resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support, coach and develop operational teams to achieve high performance and strong safety standards.
