Job summary

Trant Engineering Ltd is seeking Civils Operatives to assist on site with general civils construction operations, drainage, pipe laying, and concrete works. The role requires working away when necessary and maintaining high health and safety standards on busy projects across the UK.

Ideal candidates will hold a CSCS card, have a valid right to work in the UK, and possess or be willing to obtain CPCS/NPORS qualifications for 360, dumper, or roller operations.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card holder and right to work in the UK.
• NVQ Level 2 Civil Engineering / Construction / Groundworks or equivalent.
• Confined Space Awareness is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support site teams with general civils construction operations.
• Assist with drainage, pipe laying, concrete, and hand digging around services.
• Maintain site cleanliness and PPE compliance to safety standards.
• Wear PPE and report hazards or incidents to supervisors.
• Coordinate with foremen and site supervisors to meet daily targets.
