Job summary

McGinley Support Services Infrastructure Ltd is seeking Civils Operatives for ongoing civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Launceston, Bodmin and Fraddon. 37 hours per week, with a starting date ASAP. From £13.45 per hour DOE and tickets held, ongoing opportunities in highways and utility works.

Role includes excavation, installation of ducts and pipes, and ensuring health and safety on site. Driving licence and CSCS card are expected requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering, groundworks or utility works.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Excavation and reinstatement of roads, footways and utility trenches.
• Installation of ducts, drainage systems and utility pipework.
• Assisting with site preparation and general groundworks activities.
• Operating hand tools and small plant equipment safely.
• Supporting utility installation, repair and maintenance projects.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite.
• Following RAMS, site procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Rate variations are dependent upon shift pattern and experience.
