Job summary

Adler and Allan is seeking an Operative - Civils at Rochford to assist in delivering on-site project works to a safe, compliant, and high standard of workmanship. You will support operational activities across utility services and report to the Lead Operative.

You will work safely, follow procedures, attend training, and coordinate with engineers and supervisors to meet project requirements while maintaining equipment and liaising with customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in drainage or civils construction.
• CSCS card required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
• Willingness to travel to various sites (working away) and work flexible hours.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CPCS or NPORS certification for plant operation.
• Confined space training.
• First Aid certification.
• Good IT skills including ability to use mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and ensure the safety of all on site.
• Assist with delivering on-site project works to a high standard of workmanship.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools for drainage work.
• Record details of work undertaken accurately.
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to meet project requirements.
