Job summary

Van Elle Limited is seeking Civils Groundworkers for site-based roles across the UK. You will join a hands-on civils team, contributing to groundworks, drainage, concreting and platform installations on diverse projects.

The role requires CSCS and relevant CPCS/NPORS credentials, a strong work ethic and the ability to travel nationwide. A permanent position with ongoing onsite training and development is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in civils groundworks.
• CSCS card required.
• CPCS NPORS CSCS credentials as listed.
• First aid certification preferred; SSSTS/SMSTS beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all aspects of groundworks as part of a team.
• Install platforms as required.
• Read drawings and use a laser level (benefit).
• Operate steel fixing and shuttering (benefit).
• Carry out drainage installation and concreting.
• Promote Van Elle values through conduct.
• Adhere to Van Elle policies and procedures.

Civils Groundworkers

Location will be Site based in different site locations across the country

Are you ready to build your career with a supportive, hands-on civils team? We're looking for Civils Groundworkers of all experience levels to join us, develop their skills, and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects across the UK.

What you'll be doing

• Work as part of a team, delivering all aspects of groundworks
• Installation of platforms
• Able to use a laser level, and read drawings (not essential but would be a benefit)
• Steel fixing and shuttering (not essential but would be a benefit)
• Drainage installation
• Concreting skills
• Polite manor and good communication skills
• Conduct self in a way that reflect and promotes the Van Elle company values
• Understand and act in accordance with Van Elle’s policies and procedures.
• Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake.

Who we're looking for

• Experience in civils groundworks
• Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card
• CPCS excavator 10t and above or Npors with CSCS logo
• CPCS FWD tipping dumper or Npors with CSCS logo
• CPCS roller or Npors with CSCS logo
• First aid
• Temporary work Supervisor
• Lift supervisor
• Strong work ethic and Punctuality
• Able to Work Nationwide
• SSSTS/SMSTS (Not essential but would be a benefit)

Other Requirements:

• Eligible to work and live in the UK.
• Flexibility to travel in the UK.
• A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK (desirable)
