Job summary

EirEng Consulting Engineers in Bath is seeking a Civil Technician to contribute to design across logistics, residential, retail, and commercial projects. You will develop drawings and 3D models, and work with the team to meet programme budgets and deadlines.

The role requires several years consultancy experience, proficiency with Civil 3D, BIM and AutoCAD, and EngTech MICE or working towards it. The office offers a supportive environment, ongoing training and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficient in civil engineering design and modelling tools.
• Experience with standard industry software and design workflows.
• Team collaboration and client-focused design delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil drawings, notes and sketches into deliverable drawings, documents & 3D models.
• Collaborate with other designers to meet programme, budget and time constraints.
• Coordinate with internal and external project teams.
• Proactively improve efficiencies and production of details.
• Contribute to development of model templates, standards and best practice.
• Communicate and prioritise day-to-day tasks with the project team.
• Develop design details to meet constraints.
