Job summary

Cundall is recruiting a Civil Engineering Technician to join our UK office and work on high-profile infrastructure projects. You will prepare 2D and 3D/BIM models and contribute technical reporting across project lifecycles, collaborating with colleagues from multiple disciplines.

You will gain exposure to highways and infrastructure masterplanning, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as your skills develop through ICE-accredited development programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Civil Engineering role within a design consultancy.
• Proficient with Civil 3D; knowledge of QGIS beneficial.
• Knowledge of local authority standards and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provision of technical inputs across the highways specialism including design drawings and 2D and 3D models.
• Show technical competence including the use of software such as Civils 3D and the Microsoft Office Suite of programmes.
• Have appropriate experience in the design of development infrastructure projects.
• Have a strong understanding of civil engineering design principles.
• Work as part of the team to undertake a range of technical design and written deliverables.
• Knowledge and experience of design software packages including InfoDrainage and KeySign/Post would be advantageous but not essential.
