Job summary

EirEng Consulting Engineers in Bath is seeking a Civil Technician to contribute to design across logistics, residential, retail, and commercial projects. You will develop drawings and 3D models, and work with the team to meet programme budgets and deadlines.

The role requires several years consultancy experience, proficiency with Civil 3D, BIM and AutoCAD, and EngTech MICE or working towards it. The office offers a supportive environment, ongoing training and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of model templates, standards and best practice.

Opportunity to join our dynamic and friendly team of engineers and technicians as a Civil Technician, based in the Bath office. You’ll contribute to all stages of design of projects in logistics, residential, retail, and commercial sectors at a wide range of scales. This will include:

• Developing civil engineering designs, notes and sketches into high-quality, deliverable drawings, documents & 3D models.
• Working closely with other designers in the team & keeping within programme budget & time constraints.
• Liaising, collaborating and coordinating with internal and external project team members.
• A pro-active approach towards efficiencies, problem solving & production of details.
• Active contribution to ongoing development of model templates, best practice & standards.
• Communicating & prioritising day-to-day tasks with the project team.
• Working-up details to suit constraints.

Your experience, skills, qualifications and professional memberships are likely to include several years consultancy experience, site development, Civil 3D, BIM, AutoCAD, civil engineering qualification(s) and EngTech MICE or working towards this.
