Job summary

Cundall’s UK Civil Engineering team in Manchester seeks a talented Technician to contribute to design on high-profile projects across the UK and worldwide.

You will prepare 2D and 3D/BIM models, deliver technical drawings and reports, and work closely with colleagues across highways, infrastructure and masterplanning disciplines, with opportunities for increased responsibility as skills develop.

Qualifications

• Experience in a design consultancy environment.
• Proficient with Civil 3D; knowledge of QGIS beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide design inputs across highways focus, including drawings and 2D/3D models.
• Demonstrate competence with software like Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Contribute to development infrastructure project design.
• Apply civil engineering design principles across projects.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team on technical design and deliverables.
• Familiarity with additional tools such as InfoDrainage is advantageous.
