Job summary

Astute's Power team in Chester is seeking a Civil Site Supervisor for an Energy from Waste project on a 12-month minimum contract. You will be responsible for safety and HSE performance of all personnel under your control, stopping work when safety is compromised, and implementing standardised methods to resolve complex problems.

The successful candidate will lead with a heavy civil focus, hold an in-date SSSTS and CCNSG/CSCS card, and work closely with contractors to deliver the project on time

Qualifications

• Must have a civil background with leadership and supervisory experience.
• Experience in Energy from Waste (EFW) or similar industry is required.
• In-date SSSTS and CCNSG/CSCS card holders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and HSE performance of all personnel under control.
• Stop work where safety is compromised and implement standardised problem-solving methods.
• Support the project team to achieve objectives and ensure contractual compliance.
• Co-operate with contractors and exchange experience with colleagues.
• Lead works in accordance with the contract, timing, and budget requirements.

responsible for products and other project teams and specialist department
Must be heavily Civil focused background with leadership / supervisory skills and experience
Must have experience within the EFW or similar industry
Must hold an in-date SSSTS and CCNSG/CSCS Card
