Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to join our civil engineering division and deliver high-value projects across the UK. You will take responsibility for setting out, quality control and coordinating with the supply chain to ensure timely progress.

The role requires excellent technical knowledge of civil engineering, compliance with SHEQ policies, RAMS, and the ability to travel across the UK. HND/BSc qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent in a related field
• Full Driving Licence
• Excellent technical knowledge of civil engineering and best practices
• Willing to travel and work throughout the UK

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for delivering all aspects of the civil engineering project
• Follow and implement company procedures, inspections and RAMS
• Ensure site activities comply with SHEQ policies and procedures
• Induct and manage subcontractors, designers, clients, staff and visitors
• Produce progress reports (weekly/monthly) and communicate programme risks
• Maintain accurate daily records for labour, materials and plant
• Keep drawings and contract documents up to date
• Develop short-term look-ahead programmes with the supply chain
