Job summary

You will prepare budgets, interim valuations and final accounts, and contribute to cost forecasting and value engineering with a focus on commercial efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Civil Engineering Construction experience required.
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contract forms.
• Excellent commercial awareness and numeracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Good organisational and time-management abilities.
• Able to travel to site as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs and change processes to ensure commercial efficiency.
• Prepare budgets, interim valuations and final accounts.
• Cost forecasting and support value engineering initiatives.
• Procurement of supply chain partners and subcontractor management.
• Assess and certify subcontract payments.
• Prepare Extension of Time and Loss & Expense submissions.
• Maintain robust commercial documentation and contract compliance (JCT/NEC).
• Support governance, quality and safety practices.
• Coordinate interaction between commercial and site teams.
