Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor in Warrington with £45,000-£50,000 salary. You will join a growing civils commercial team and gain exposure across enabling works, piling and groundworks.

The role supports commercial management and involves valuations, subcontractor procurement, and cost reporting. The ideal candidate has around 2-3 years of QS experience, some civil engineering exposure, and a proactive, development-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Around 2-3 years of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Some previous experience within civil engineering.
• Comfortable working within a project environment.
• Good commercial and contractual understanding.
• Ambitious and keen to develop.
• Piling experience is not essential.

• Supporting the commercial management of civils projects
• Working across enabling works, piling and groundworks packages
• Subcontractor procurement and management
• Valuations, applications and final accounts
• Cost reporting and forecasting
• Managing variations and commercial changes
• Working closely with the project and operational teams
