Job summary

AEPartners UK is seeking a Civil Project Leader in Reading to drive design and delivery of water and wastewater projects within a dynamic design‑and‑build team.

You will lead design from outline to detailed stages, coordinating multi‑discipline engineers and BIM specialists, while ensuring programme, budget and quality targets are met. Flexible working from home, office and site is supported.

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in civil engineering
• Incorporated member of Engineering Institution (IStructE/IWE or equivalent)
• Outline and detailed design experience in water or wastewater projects
• Knowledge of designer Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a project triangle with Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to balance technical, constructability and commercial delivery.
• Lead the design of treatment or infrastructure projects from outline to detailed design, through construction and handover.
• Coordinate civil, electrical, mechanical and process designers, BIM modelers and specialists to deliver on programme and budget.
• Undertake design within own discipline and mentor junior colleagues.
• Build strong relationships with client teams and promote a one-team approach.
