Job summary

CHG Electrical is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to deliver multiple civil engineering projects across the UK. You will lead delivery, coordinate teams, manage budgets and ensure safety, quality and programme alignment.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will drive commercial outcomes while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships and ensuring CDM and regulatory compliance on site. This role requires ownership and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Proven civil project delivery experience within utilities and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering and construction methods.
• Experience managing complex programmes, budgets and resources.
• Confidence managing project teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong commercial awareness, including costs, variations and project risk.
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
• Strong client and stakeholder management capability.
• Excellent leadership, communication and practical problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management and reporting tools.
• A collaborative and proactive approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of multiple civil engineering projects.
• Plan and manage project teams, resources, subcontractors and materials.
• Monitor programmes, budgets, risks and variations.
• Ensure technical delivery meets project scope, specifications and compliance requirements.
• Attend Client Progress Team meetings and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain High Safety standards and CDM compliance.
