Job summary

NRL is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning and delivery of civil engineering works on a major Enfield site. You will oversee technical aspects, review drawings, and coordinate with the construction team to ensure quality, safety, and progress.

The role emphasises on-site execution, compliance with health and safety regulations, and timely reporting of milestones. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for successful site operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Project Engineer or Site Engineer role within civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of groundworks, structures, and associated civil works.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills for liaison with site teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage technical aspects of civil engineering packages on site
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and design details to facilitate works
• Coordinate site activities with the construction team and subcontractors
• Conduct quality checks and ensure works meet technical and safety standards
• Monitor progress against programme and report on key milestones
• Support issue resolution and provide technical guidance where needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, including site records and inspection reports
