Job summary

NRL is seeking a Senior Site Manager in Enfield to take day-to-day responsibility for delivering major civil engineering works on site, leading on-site teams and subcontractors to meet safety, quality and programme targets.

You will be SMSTS certified with strong knowledge of groundworks and structures, monitor progress, manage logistics and report to project leadership to ensure compliance with H&S and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering projects.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and subcontractors safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, structures, and associated civil works.
• SMSTS certification and health & safety qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all on-site civil works, supervising teams and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
• Monitor construction progress against programme and implement corrective action when necessary
• Oversee quality control processes and ensure works meet specification and contractual requirements
• Manage site logistics, resources, and plant to maintain productivity and schedule
• Provide regular updates, reports, and site documentation for project leadership
• Support risk management and drive continuous improvement across site operations
