Job summary

Extension Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK. Based near Basildon, you will coordinate activities from planning through to completion and work closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have proven civil engineering or earthworks experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven experience in civil engineering or earthworks projects.
• Strong technical engineering knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities from planning through to completion.
• Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with commercial, planning and HSEQ teams.
• Monitor project progress, risks and performance.
• Support delivery of projects against safety, quality, programme and budget targets.
