Responsibilities

1. Act as a representative for the client in all construction activities on site.
2. Manage projects from design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring the design integration of all types of construction works.
3. Direct and supervise workforces and manage project resources; coordinate with departments, management, and contractors.
4. Implement and monitor SHE policies and procedures, manage CDM and Temporary Works, and ensure client obligations are met.
5. Provide construction quality and technical oversight, manage change, mitigate risks, control costs, and oversee schedules.
6. Create, review, and approve technical documentation according to industry and client SHE and QA/QC standards.
7. Prepare and submit applications to relevant authorities such as Planning and Building Regulations.

Essential Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or Construction.
• Excellent understanding of 2015 UK CDM Regulations and relevant standards.
• Experience in delivering construction projects within the industrial sector (client or contractor biased).

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction or equivalent.
• Membership or working towards membership in a professional engineering institution.
• Experience in a defence-related industry background.
