Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd, in partnership with a leading construction client, is recruiting for a Civil Planning Engineer to ensure sites are technically ready for construction, delivered safely and on time.

You will support site teams, check statutory approvals, and coordinate civil designs for residential, commercial and industrial projects, with emphasis on cost-effective, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Civil Planning Engineer or similar roles.
• Knowledge of highways drainage approvals and S38/S278/S104 processes.
• Ability to coordinate with external engineers and adoptable authorities.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in delivering civil engineering schemes to programme and budget.
• Negotiate and secure statutory approvals from highways and drainage authorities.
• Ensure designs meet legislation, standards and adoptor requirements.
• Coordinate civil works across residential, commercial and industrial schemes.
• Develop buildable, cost-effective civil solutions and ensure quality.
