Job summary

Mercury GmbH in Oxford, United Kingdom, seeks an experienced site/project coordinator to manage civil work packages, subcontractor onboarding, EHS, QA/QC and scheduling for major engineering projects. The role requires coordinating with clients, main contractor, suppliers and design teams to ensure compliance with project specs and BIM/CAD workflows.

You will oversee site operations, manage subcontractor documentation, and drive weekly progress reports, risk reviews and commercial updates while

Qualifications

5+ years' experience with a recognised contractor.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Able to work as part of a team and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in engineering software and BIM processes.
Experience with Primavera planning and CAD/BIM workflows.
Able to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the co-ordination of civil work packages including subcontractor onboarding, EHS, QAQC, schedule, design & handover.
Manage site safety with contractors, project manager and Mercury safety adviser, including setup and closure of subcontractor files.
Manage Site QA with contractors, Mercury project manager and QAQC lead including set up and close out of subcontractor files.
Manage the project schedule with contractors, site planner, PMs and engineers to meet Mercury and client requirements.
Oversee commercial aspects with project QS including labour, materials, plant, variations and valuations.
Support wider team with closeout of deliverables, final accounts, O&M manuals, punch lists, safety file, QA file and relocations.
