Job summary

Mercury is seeking a CSA Package Manager in Oxford to lead the coordination of civil work packages on complex projects. You will onboarding subcontractors, manage safety, QA/QC, and the project schedule to meet client requirements.

You will handle commercial aspects with the project QS, use Primavera for planning, and liaise with design teams, main contractors, and suppliers to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with a recognised contractor.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in systems software related to engineering functions.
• Familiar with Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM processes.
• Strong communication and self-management.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil work packages, onboarding subcontractors, QA/QC, schedule and handover.
• Manage site safety with contractors and Mercury safety adviser.
• Oversee site QA with contractors and QAQC lead.
• Manage project schedule with planners and engineers.
• Handle all commercial aspects with project QS: labour, materials, plant, variations, valuations.
• Support stakeholders and ensure works meet project specs and QA plan.
• Prepare reports and weekly safety stats.
• Maintain subcontractor documentation and weekly meetings.
• Assist installation team with design coordination and RFIs.
• Ensure close-out of project deliverables.
