Qualifications

  • NQ to 3 years' PQE required.
  • Knowledge of civil court procedure and practice essential.
  • Experience with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 desirable.

Civil Litigation Solicitor (NQ-3yrs' PQE) – Glasgow

An established litigation practice in Scotland is seeking a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join its team. You will handle a diverse caseload covering consumer protection, product liability, data breach and house disrepair, with opportunities to progress cases individually and through Group Proceedings where relevant. This role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to clients’ pursuit of justice while developing your legal expertise.

Role Requirements
  • Manage a varied caseload of pre-litigation and litigation matters
  • Conduct liability investigations and gather witness statements
  • Draft legal documents, including writs and liaise with Counsel
  • Work with medical experts and coordinate their input
  • Participate in court work, including ASPIC and Court of Session cases
  • Support and mentor trainees, contributing to a collaborative team environment
Experience
  • NQ to 3 years’ PQE
  • Knowledge of civil court procedure and practice
  • Experience with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 (data breach experience desirable)
