Job summary

Edwards Legal Recruitment LP is representing a central Brighton solicitors’ practice seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor or CILEX to join a small Litigation team on a hybrid basis. You will handle a mix of contentious probate, property disputes and negligence matters for Sussex-based clients.

You will take over an existing caseload and contribute to expanding the department, with a generous salary and hybrid working arrangements. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience handling dispute resolution matters in a litigation setting.
• Experience with will/probate disputes is advantageous.
• Knowledge of TOLATA and property litigation beneficial.

Responsibilities

Job description

Solicitors practice based in central Brighton (initially founded in the late 1800s) seeks additional Dispute Resolution Solicitor or CILEX to join an expanding team (Hybrid Working)

You will be joining a team of 2 in the firms Litigation team acting for the firms long standing Sussex based clients dealing with a range of litigation matters including Contentious Will/Probate disputes, TOLATA cases, Property Litigation and Professional Negligence claims. Any additional experience with Contract disputes, Business/Partnership litigation would be an added advantage.

The successful lawyer will be taking over an existing caseload but will also play a role in expanding the firms Litigation department.
