Job summary

Tozers LLP is a leading firm of solicitors with offices in Exeter, Teignmouth and Newton Abbot. We are seeking an ambitious Paralegal to join a specialist civil litigation team with a strong sector presence.

The role covers file opening/archiving, document production, and assisting lawyers in commercial dispute resolution. The team collaborates in the office two days a week (Mon, Wed) with flexible options available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a legal role, particularly commercial dispute resolution, is advantageous but not essential.
• A degree is required, with ambition to develop legal skills in a leading team.
• Be very well organised, a good communicator and a proactive team player with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Open, close and archive client files and manage the firm’s IT systems.
• Provide general support to lawyers in commercial dispute resolution.
• Proofread and update dictated work; handle client enquiries by email and phone.
• Assist with court and property tribunal representations and document production.
