Macstaff seeks a Project Manager - Civil Engineering / Construction near Newton Abbot, Devon. You will lead specialist civil and infrastructure projects across the UK, ensuring programmes, budgets and safety standards are met while coordinating design, fabrication and site installation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of structural behaviour and materials.
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts and CDM 2015.
• Strong communication with design and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering and construction projects to agreed programmes, budgets, quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design, fabrication, supply chain and site installation activities.
• Liaise with clients, principal contractors and subcontractors, attending progress meetings and resolving project challenges.
• Procure and manage subcontractors, specialist fabricators, suppliers and materials.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Administer NEC/JCT contracts, variations, early warnings and compensation events.
• Prepare and maintain construction programmes, schedules and project documentation.
• Review RAMS and ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and site health and safety requirements.
• Resolve technical queries with design teams, understanding structural behaviour and material suitability.
• Coordinate construction completion, quality records and project handover.
