Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team in Sheffield. The role focuses on highways and drainage design for a mix of residential and commercial developments.

You will design, model and draw drainage systems (including SuDS), work on external works and site level design, and produce technical drawings and schedules while coordinating with clients, consultants and other team members. Mentoring juniors and progressing towards Chartered status are supported.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related subject.
• Experience in infrastructure design.
• Experience with residential development projects.
• Strong highways and drainage design experience.
• Experience with S38, S278 and S104.
• Chartered or working towards ICE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design highways and drainage infrastructure for residential and commercial developments.
• Designing drainage systems, including SuDS
• Highway design including S38, S278 and S104
• External works and site level design
• Preparing technical drawings and schedules
• Working with clients, consultants and other project team members
• Managing your own workload and working to project deadlines
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where required
• Working towards Chartered status where applicable
