Aldwych Consulting is recruiting a Buyer to support civil engineering and infrastructure projects across water, transport, energy and built environment sectors. The role focuses on procurement of materials, plant and services, with emphasis on cost control and delivery performance.

The successful candidate will have experience in construction procurement, strong negotiation skills and a proactive approach to supplier relationships, ensuring value and timely delivery in a busy commercial team.

Formación

• Experience in procurement in construction or engineering sectors is essential.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Source and procure construction materials, plant and related services.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate prices and delivery terms.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, site teams and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure deliveries align with project programmes, budgets and quality.
• Monitor procurement costs and maintain purchasing records for reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and value.
