Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Consultant Engineer to drive technical development and delivery of civil engineering and flood risk management projects across public and private sectors in the UK. You will lead workstreams, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and support client approvals to produce robust, buildable solutions.

The role emphasizes technical governance, collaboration and proactive risk management, with hybrid working and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in civil engineering, environmental engineering, flood risk management or a related discipline.
• Active progress toward chartership with MICE or MCIWEM.
• Experience in civil engineering or flood risk management and a track record of technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of defined workstreams and contribute to technical governance.
• Support option development, design coordination and technical reviews.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet objectives.
• Travel to project sites and client locations as required.
