We're seeking a skilled Civil Bias Estimator to join a leading rail and infrastructure solutions provider, known for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects across Scotland. This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team, contributing to a wide range of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accurately estimating costs for civil engineering works, including earthworks, drainage, structures, and foundation work.
2. Collaborating with project teams to assess project requirements and prepare bids.
3. Conducting site visits, understanding project scopes, and compiling accurate cost estimates.
4. Working with procurement to source and price materials and liaise with suppliers.
5. Preparing and presenting cost reports to management and assisting in budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as an estimator in civil engineering, ideally with rail or infrastructure projects.
2. Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and costs.
3. Proficiency in estimating software and advanced Excel skills.
4. Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
