Job summary

The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is seeking a Membership Development Officer for the North West & North England region. This home-based role requires driving membership growth, supporting members and employers, and engaging with FE/HE institutions.

You will work with the North England team, travel across the Northwest and North of England, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure a consistent approach and up-to-date membership records.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent. Essential experience in civil engineering, customer service, learning and development or related subject.
• A professionally qualified Civil Engineer would be desirable though not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to members and non-members.
• Advise employers on professional development for staff and engineers.
• Advise FE/HE students on membership and career opportunities.
• Promote and grow ICE membership in the Northwest and North of England.
• Develop and market activities to support membership routes and delivery.
• Oversee ICE Approved Employers and mentor programmes.
