Job summary

Stantec is offering a Civil Engineering apprenticeship in Leeds within our UK Water team. You will learn from experienced engineers while contributing to feasibility, calculations, drawings and client presentations across Yorkshire Water frameworks and other projects.

You’ll study for a Level 6 BEng Civil Engineering degree in partnership with our Training Providers, with four days in the office each week. Applications are ongoing.

Qualifications

• A-levels: Mathematics grade B or above and one other analytical science subject at grade B or above.
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM with Merit or above in Mathematics and Further Mathematics in Construction Units.
• For Coventry you must have: DDM.
• Scottish Highers: 4 A/B grades including Mathematics.
• Irish Highers: at least H3 in Mathematics and another analytical science.
• IB: 32/655 with HL5 in Mathematics and another science.
• Other equivalent qualifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supporting engineering activities from feasibility through to construction, including detailed calculations, analysis and drawings.
• Using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other software to present design solutions for clients.
• Assisting in preparing reports, presentations, bids and proposals.
• Providing technical input on civil engineering matters to support the project team.
• Attending meetings and workshops with clients and colleagues from other disciplines.
